Introduction
Here are three ways you can earn money using Lens Studio, and the last one lets you earn up to 6 lakhs per month.
What is Lens Studio?
If you don't know, Lens Studio is a tool used to create filters, or what they like to call Lenses—AR Lenses—for Snapchat. If you've ever used Snapchat, you know how famous those filters or Lenses are.
Who Creates Lenses?
Someone has to create those Lenses, and it's creators like me and others.
Learning Lens Studio
If you're wondering how you can learn this, I have persSonally made two tutorial series: one in Hindi and another in Telugu. There’s also an entire library of learning material from Snap themselves.

1. Working with Clients
The first method of earning money using Lens Studio is to work with clients. Clients hire AR creators to develop AR effects for social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Everywhere you see branded filters, those are made by creators like me and others.
I will link some websites where you can create your portfolios, interact with clients, and get hired. But before working with your first client, make sure to watch my video on how much you should charge as an AR Creator.
2. Creating Digital Goods Lenses
The second way to earn money is by creating Digital Goods Lenses. If you've ever played video games, you’ve seen skins that players can buy. It’s similar here—you create microtransactions within your AR effect, such as unlockable goods that users can purchase using tokens.
3. Lens Creator Rewards Program
The third way is through the Lens Creator Rewards Program. This initiative by Snapchat pays AR creators for top-performing effects. If your Lens gets a lot of engagement and goes viral, you’ll receive a monthly payout.
Snapchat offers monthly rewards of up to $7,200 for top-performing Lenses in the US, India, and Mexico. I will attach the terms, conditions, and more details about this program in the description.
Conclusion
Those are the three basic ways to earn money through Lens Studio. That's it for now. I'll see you in the next one!
